Episode 1 - Artists Journey

I do not identify as an artist. To me a artist is someone with some innate skill that has to ooze out or else the person will perish. For me, art, or the act of creation has not necessarily been something that I HAVE to do or even NEED to do but a way for me to connect to the outside world. At my core its a need to connect and create friendship or a desire of admiration. Not the ideal way to externalize my worth and is a primary reason I think the aforementioned not identifying as an artists. Because I do not think I am innately skilled in any one thing. What I am very good at is becoming obsessed with the idea of project to the point where I have to do it. This has led me to gather a lot of diverse skills where I am moderately proficient. I love being a polymath. Variety and novelty being a spice of life to combat the dullness of adulting.
